Steve Pavlina - Switching Dimensions

I haven't set this blog up to knock Steve Pavlina, far from it.  I intend to tease out the useful stuff.  And I think there is a lot of useful stuff in there.  But I have to say that his latest blog post on Switching Dimensions really is the most impenetrable load of gobbledegook.   I think I have got it now, but it really took some effort and I don't think that effort was rewarded at all.

Basically, the one word summary is that if you want to change something in your life you have to make changes to your life.  The changes that you make have to support that change.  The example Steve gave to illustrate his bizarre 10 point Switching Dimension strategy illustrated the point perfectly and fully.  His forum, Facebook pages, e-mail and Twitter feeds were creating too much work for him.  He thought it over and decided to get rid of them.  He has now done so and has more time to devote to things he wants to do more.

It is a useful case study.  We have all probably got tied up with commitments to things that waste our time that we should probably withdraw from.  And it sometimes takes a bit of work and planning to do so.  And that is about it.  If you want more detail of how Steve goes about via an analogy with quantum mechanics feel free to follow the link.
